GRAS Observatories InfoRemote Astronomical Society Observatory, Mayhill, New Mexico (MPC Code - H06)
RASO is the "home" observatory for many of our observers. Hosted by
New Mexico Skies and near such professional observatories as the Sloan Digital Survey Observatory and the National Solar Observatory. The observatory features six Takahashi telescopes:
Two Mewlon 30cm Cassegrains
(G1 G2), and two Epsilon 25cm astrographs
(G4 G5).
One Takahashi TOA 15cm apo refractor
(G3) and one Takahashi FSQ106ED apo refractor
(G14).
Three of these telescopes feature photometric filters and are primarily used for scientific observations (GRAS 001, 002 and 004). (GRAS005) has BVR photometric and a variety of broad and narrow-band non-photometric filters and is dual use. The others include a variety of broad and narrow-band filters.

The observatory is between Adelaide, SA and Mildura, VIC, Australia. Hosted at
Riverland Dingo Observatory. Four telescopes are presently available:
(G8) a 12.5" RCOS with broad and narrow-band non-photometric filters and a photometric V-filter,
(G15) a 10" RCOS with photometric and narrow-band filters and
(G12) a Takahashi FSQ106ED with non-photometric RGB and narrow-band filters.
(G13) our One Shot Colour telescope is a Takahashi Sky 90mm APO with SBIG-ST2000XMC Camera.
